The law firm of Pemberton, Sorlie, Rufer and Kershner has hired four new attorneys, including one in the Detroit Lakes office.
Amanda Hanson joined the firm in September and works out of the Detroit Lakes office.
Hanson was born and raised in Fergus Falls, graduated summa cum laude in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2012.
She maintains a general practice, including general litigation, estate planning, and an emphasis in family law.
The firm also recently added Paul Johnson and Julie Haseman as new partners in the Alexandria office.
Johnson has an established practice focusing on business sales and acquisitions, business formation and operational matters of corporations, cooperatives, partnerships, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships.
Haseman also has an established practice, primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, trusts, real estate, and township law.
Sarah Duffy joined the Fergus Falls office full time in November.
She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2007 and William Mitchell College of Law in 2012. Duffy's practice focuses on public school law, labor law and estate planning.
