Perham Museum hosts History Mystery Tour
Kids are invited to search out answers on a fun History Mystery tour this summer.
Travel back in time to the origins of East Otter Tail County at the History Museum in Perham, answer a few questions and get a sweet reward.
The game is free for kids to play, and admission to the museum is free, too. The activity is part of a full schedule of events organized by the History and Cultural Association of East Otter Tail County (HACA). The non-profit oversees the History Museum and Historical Society of East Otter Tail County, Pioneer Park and In Their Own Words Veterans Museum.
“The History Mystery Tour a great summer time activity with an educational focus,” said Darla Ellingson, History and Cultural Center CEO. “Adults might also learn a thing or two.”
The History Mystery Tour runs now through Sept. 1.
The quaint museum is in the old library building, and shares the block with the new library and a city park in between First and Second Avenue NE in Perham. Museum hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
