Perham notches sweep on Lakers

There were positive signs in Detroit Lakes' 3-0 loss to visiting Perham Tuesday and that was just overall improvement.

The Yellowjackets won the first three sets by the scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21 to keep the Lakers winless at 0-3.

But the play by the DL squad has progressed from their first two losses of the season, said Laker head coach Jim Wood.
