Phelps Mill Art Festival is this weekend
People will gather north of Underwood at Phelps Mill for art and entertainment this Saturday and Sunday, July 14-15, as the annual Phelps Mill Art Festival gets underway.
The festival will feature 165 arts and crafts exhibitors and 13 food vendors.
Among the featured artists are Jenny Field, who sells antiques, paintings, painted furniture, handmade furniture, hand sewn creative purses, totes and jewelry; Dave and Kim Stancel, who carve antlers; jewelry-maker Shelli Fenske; potter Stuart Tollefson; potters Steve and Leslie Schroeder; stained glass makers Dennis Martz and Dave Messenger, and knitter Carol Paurus.
This year's musicians include country group Sherwin & Pam Linton & the Cotton Kings, and musical storytellers Douglas Wood & the Wild Spirit Band. Other entertainment includes George the Juggler, Magic by Nicholas and Jane's Traveling Turtles.
There will also be a children's activity area.
