Pickup driver injured in crash with beet truck in Polk County

CROOKSTON, Minn. – The driver of a pickup was injured Wednesday when the vehicle rear-ended a beet truck, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened about 4 p.m. about half a mile west of Highway 75 on County Road 9.

According to the Sheriff’s Office:

The driver of the pickup, Kimberly Vaughan, 49, of Fertile, was extricated from her vehicle and taken to Riverview Hospital in Crookston.

The driver of the beet truck, Kindra Hoffman, 24, no address available, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
