Pippa White performs Friday at ITOW
This Friday, Nov. 13, One's Company, with actress Pippa White, will be presenting "Far as the Eye Can See, " a one-woman drama about the prairie and its people at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham.
The performance begins at 7 p.m., and will be preceeded by a Hotdish and Jello Supper offered by the Perham VFW Auxiliary at 6 p.m.
Tickets for the show are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Dinner tickets, sold separately, are $8 and reservations are required.
Call 218-346-7678 for tickets or dinner reservations.
Pippa White is in her 14th year as a solo performer. Her unique one-woman shows draw on many different sources for a collection of unusual and entertaining productions. She performed in Perham several years ago with her productions of "Voices from Ellis Island" and "The Orphan Train."
The return of Pippa White to the area is cause enough for celebration, but thanks to a recent grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation, she will also be giving performances to students at the Prairie Wind Middle School.
The grant was awarded to the Friends of the History Museum of East Otter Tail County who produce many events like this for the community and whenever possible make them available to the schools.
