Police blame shoes for crash in Fargo
Fargo police say shoes with extra-long toes were to blame for a crash involving a car and a building.
Authorities say a 30-year-old man with a learner's permit drove the car into the front of International Grocery on Tuesday, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Police say the man's shoes got stuck in the pedals, and he hit the accelerator harder than he meant to.
The driver will be cited for not having the car under control.
