Police investigate armed robbery in south Fargo
FARGO - Police in Fargo responded to a report of an armed robbery in south Fargo on Saturday night.
According to Red River Valley Dispatch, a robbery at GameStop, 1801 45th St. S., was reported at 8:41 pm.
Sgt. Jim Vanlith said a lone suspect entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded money. Two employees - the only people in the store at the time - complied, and the suspect left on foot.
The gun was not fired, and no one was injured in the robbery.
A suspect, believed to be a thin, tall white male, ran west from the store.
Police set up a perimeter around the 45th Street Marketplace, and a canine unit was used to track the suspect, but no trail was found.
The amount of money stolen was not disclosed. Vanlith said the store has video surveillance, and investigators will review the tape.
