Police investigate double-stabbing incident Saturday night in Fargo
FARGO - Police here are investigating potential suspects after two men were allegedly stabbed multiple times each on Saturday night.
Lt. Joel Vettel said officers were dispatched to Essentia Health around 9:30 p.m. after the two men sought medical treatment for multiple stab wounds.
One of the victims is in his late teens, the other in his early 20s.
Their identities have not been made public.
Police investigation led officers to the 3100 block of 33rd Street South, where authorities believe the stabbings occurred.
Officers interviewed "a number of people in the building" and were continuing the investigation Sunday, Vettel said.
No arrests have been made, but "we have some people we believe were involved," he said.
Vettel said the two victims and the potential suspects knew each other and the incident "was not a random act."
"It appears (they) had past dealings with each other and had some sort of disagreement," Vettel said. "At this point, we're looking at what the motive might have been."
The victims' condition and the extent of their injuries were unknown as of Sunday afternoon.
