Police investigate early morning stabbing at south Fargo apartment
FARGO - Police here are investigating the stabbing of a man who was found bloodied and pounding on the door of a south Fargo apartment building early this morning.
The victim was taken to Innovis Hospital. It's unknown whether his injuries are life-threatening, Sgt. Bill Ahlfeldt said.
Officers were called at 4:23 a.m. to a disturbance at the apartment building at 4201 33rd Ave. S.
The caller said the bloody male was trying to pick the lock and buzzing all the apartments, according to the dispatch log.
Police arrived and found that he'd been stabbed, Sgt. Bill Ahlfeldt said.
"Where he was stabbed, how he was stabbed is still under investigation, and that's really all I can say right now," he said, also declining to comment on whether police had any suspects.
The investigation extended across the street to the apartment building at 3420 42nd St. S., but Ahlfeldt said he couldn't comment on why police were there.
He said a vehicle was impounded in the area, but wouldn't say why.
