The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.
Wednesday, June 4
-- At 10:45 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported the theft of her purse from her backyard. The brown leather purse with snakeskin sides contained credit cards, identification and a small amount of cash.
-- At 5:05 p.m. a vehicle owner reported that the back window had been shot out of an Isuzu Trooper parked overnight on Lincoln Avenue near Oak Street.
-- At 8 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported the theft of a vehicle, that was not in running condition, from the 31000 block of 320th Street.
Thursday, June 5
-- At 8:55 a.m. a man on the 1300 block of Bayridge Drive in Detroit Lakes reported the overnight theft from his backyard of six goose decoys, valued at about $150.
-- At 9:07 a.m. the theft of power tools was reported from a construction site on West Toad Lake Drive. Taken from a tool trailer were a Marita drill and two Milwaukee saws.
-- At 1:42 p.m. a man reported he lost his wallet at Kmart, containing $250 cash, credit cards, licenses and identification. Someone found it and it was returned to him.
-- At 1:52 p.m. it was reported that baby ducklings were trapped against a wall on Highway 10 in the vicinity of the Holiday Inn and were trying to get to the lake. Officers helped them across Highway 10 and over the netted wall to the lake.
-- At 1:53 p.m. a Lake Park man reported a car on fire in the westbound lane on Highway 10 east of Audubon.
Friday, June 6
-- At 1:39 a.m. a resident reported that a window had been broken and a residence entered on the 400 block of Washington Avenue. Nothing was immediately found to be missing.
