M State's Business and Entrepreneurial Services director and entrepreneur, Beth Pridday, has been selected by the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship to speak at the 9th Annual NACCEE Conference, Oct. 9-12 at Portland, Ore.
This is the third time that Pridday has been given the honor of speaking at this national conference.
She was selected to present on her recent collaborative project with the City of Frazee, M State in Detroit Lakes and West Central Initiative to create an entrepreneurial experiential learning opportunity out of a failed business.
"The presenters at the 2011 NACCE Conference represent community colleges from across the country," said NACCE Executive Director Heather Van Sickle. "We are extremely excited by the wide variety of topics that will be presented this year because that variety illustrates the incredible diversity of programs and services for entrepreneurs that are now being offered to entrepreneurs and business owners in every part of the U.S."
Pridday is currently the director of Business & Entrepreneurial Services at M State in Detroit Lakes, working to help local entrepreneurs get started and gain success.
She is an entrepreneur and a business owner herself, with a background in marketing, fundraising and public relations.
