Prosecutors seek to try teen as adult in Willmar homicide

WILLMAR, Minn. — Prosecutors are seeking to try a 16-year-old Willmar boy as an adult for his alleged role in the killing of an elderly woman.


Devon Jenkins will stand for an adult certification hearing Dec. 10 in the killing of Lila Warwick, 79. The hearing date was set Tuesday, and it will be before District Judge Michael J. Thompson in Kandiyohi County District Court.
