Raymond P. Hannon, 72, of Minnetonka, Minn., died on Sunday, June 14, 2009 from renal failure.
Raymond proudly served in the Navy and had a 35 year career with NSP. He loved his family above all. Duck hunting and golf were his passions. He courageously dealt with diabetes and alcoholism; enjoying 30 years of sobriety.
He is survived and will be forever missed by his loving wife, Sheila; four children, Shawna (David), James (Sheila), Colleen (Greg Rask) and William; stepbrother Tom Hannon; five grandchildren; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Hannon and Wilhemina Hannon; stepmother Marie Hannon; and siblings Robert Hannon, John Hannon and Patricia Reese.
A mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, June 18, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6820 Saint Patrick's Lane, Edina, Minn. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred sent to N.C. Little Hospice in Edina, MN 55439.
