Records set at RRV Hospice golf benefit
Monday night was a scorcher for the 10th annual Tee It Up for Hospice tournament held at Mahnomen Country Club and benefiting Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Records were shattered on all sides, beginning with a hole-in-one on the 8th hole shot by Lloyd Maydole. A record-setting 23 teams played in the 4-man scramble. A record $4,200 was raised to help provide hospice services in the Mahnomen area.
Winner of the Low Net Team with a score of 17 was Team America comprised of Kevin Kochmann, Kurt Philion, Brian Kelly and Terry McDonald. Winner of the Low Gross Team with a score of 29 was the Shooting Star Interns comprised of Kyle Hanson, Elliot Thompson, Evan Skaurad and Aaron Simon.
Thanks go out to the many businesses and individuals in the Mahnomen and Waubun area who contribute to make this tournament such a huge success.
