After 25 years of collecting donated winter wear, Fargo television station KVLY has discontinued its popular "Coats for Kids" clothing drive, leaving the local Salvation Army scrambling to keep a smaller version of the program going this fall.


"It was very much a surprise," said Tai Clark, family services director at the Salvation Army office in Fargo, which serves Cass and Clay counties.
