Repeat DWI offender sentenced to 41 months
A Wisconsin man was sentenced to 41 months in prison for a felony DWI conviction in Becker County.
Kristopher Michael Owen, 35, had four prior DWI’s when he was arrested last August when a Becker County Sheriff’s Deputy observed him blowing through a stop sign at 260th Avenue and 130th Street.
Own was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test.
His blood alcohol once booked into the jail was .10.
His driving privileges had already been revoked at the time of arrest stemming from DWI’s in 2011, 2008, 2007 and 2006.
