Ring of Kerry comes to ITOW
Join Ring of Kerry on Saturday, March 20 at 8 p.m. at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham for an evening of Irish and Celtic music.
This bursting-with-energy music group consists of five fantastic musicians, all of whom sing and play several instruments. With sounds that range from the thunder of the Irish bodhran drum to the sparkle of the hammered dulcimer; from the lilt and rhythm of fiddle and guitar to the haunting wails of the flute and penny whistle, the band has developed a blend that is animated, ruggedly beautiful and fun.
The group Ring of Kerry takes its name from a beautiful craggy drive in southwestern County Kerry, Ireland. Its Celtic music, however, is played with a heart much closer to home.
Ring of Kerry includes Paul Blondell on fiddle, Paul Cotton on bodhran, Paul Imholte on hammered dulcimer, Charlie Roth on vocals and guitar and Karie Oberg on vocals and penny whistle.
The ITOW Veterans Museum is located at 805 West Main in Perham. For ticket information, call 218-346-7678 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
