Rock painted with hearts used in Minnesota burglary

CLOQUET, Minn. -- A rock painted with hearts and the name “Christen” with pink lettering was thrown through the window of a Cloquet bank Monday, allowing burglars to take undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

The burglary of Cornerstone State Bank was reported to Cloquet police at 5:50 a.m. on reports of a broken window.

“Upon further investigation, it was determined that a burglary had taken place inside the bank,” the department said in a news release.

Police didn’t find the suspect, but they did find the painted rock the suspect used to break the window.

Police have surveillance video that shows the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or rock to contact them at (218) 879-1247.
