Ronald G. Price, 56, of Fargo, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Lake Maud, Minn.

Ronald Gabriel Price was born to Kenneth and Rose Marie (Kochmann) Price on Nov. 12, 1951 in Stephen, Minn., and grew up on the family farm. Ronald graduated from Stephen High School and received a degree in finance from Moorhead State University. He played football for MSU.

Ron married Kim Stevens on Dec. 19, 1987 at the Church of the Nativity in Fargo. They made their home in Fargo. Ron was a member of the Church of the Nativity, and spent many years in banking and finance; at the time of his death, he was employed by Grants Mechanical. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the lake. He also farmed with his family in Stephen.

Ronald was involved with his son's football activities, and served as a coach for his son's team when he played in the FM Athletics League. He was Tyler's No. 1 fan while he played football at Fargo South High School.

Ron is survived by his wife Kim; son Tyler (currently attending Concordia College; parents Kenneth and Rose Marie Price; siblings Paulette (Lee) Powell of Kanata, Ont., Canada, Brenda (Dion) Darveaux of Minot, N.D., Julianne (Cully) Gause of Grand Forks, N.D., Col. Vincent (Jennifer) Price of Arlington, Va., Dale (Barb) Price of Stephen and Kevin Price of Arlington, Va.; father- and mother in-law Keith and June Stevens; brother-in-law Kirk (Mary) Stevens of Bismarck, N.D.; sister-in-law Kathy (Tim) Welsh of Omaha, Neb.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Ronald in death were an infant sister; grandparents Stanley and Theresa Price and Julius and Veronica Kochmann; and mother-in-law, Lois (Engleson) Stevens.

A memorial service for Ronald is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Church of the Nativity in Fargo. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, with visitation one hour before.
