Rural MN CEP of DL earns performance award
RMCEP of Detroit Lakes has been recognized for excellence in performance in exceeding 13 standards and meeting four standards in its workforce development efforts at the recent annual RMCEP All-Staff conference in Fergus Falls. In addition, the Detroit Lakes staff achieved the best performance results throughout the agency in four of the performance standards.
The 20 performance standards are established by the State of Minnesota. Included in these standards are the percentages of clients attaining employment, retaining employment, receiving a credential and special employment or diploma rates for youth. Clients may be enrolled in a number of employment-focused programs such as: Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Dislocated Worker Program, WIA Adult Program, WIA Youth Program, State Dislocated Worker Program and Minnesota Youth Program.
