Seebold to play in D-III ‘Frozen Four’ for Gusties
Brianna Seebold ended her Detroit Lakes girls’ hockey career in the program’s first-ever state tournament, now she opens her college career in the Division III Frozen Four.
The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team advanced to the Frozen Four after winning the MIAC and making a run through the NCAA D-III playoffs with a record of 27-0-1.
The Gusties will open the Frozen Four Friday in Superior, Wis., against Elmira College Friday, starting at 7 p.m.
The other matchup pits Plattsburhg State against Middlebury.
The Championship game will be Saturday in Superior at 7 p.m.
Seebold has been a solid contributor as a freshman forward with five goals and four assists on the season, while seeing action in every game.
The Gusties have won the MIAC 10 years in a row, but their undefeated record is a first for the strong program.
