Email

FARGO - Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., is holding a news conference on Capitol Hill this afternoon to announce he's re-introducing legislation that would allow prescription drugs from other countries to be imported into the United States.

Dorgan said the bill is called the "Pharmaceutical Market Access and Drug Safety Act."

He said it could save American consumers $50 billion on prescription drugs over the next decade.
