Separate motorcycle crashes kill 2 from Fargo area
FARGO - Two separate motorcycle accidents have claimed the lives of a West Fargo man and a Fargo woman.
Fifty-year-old Paul "Lil Paul" Brown of West Fargo was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle went into the ditch at the 1600 block of 40th Avenue North, also known as Cass County Road 20, on Saturday night in Fargo.
The crash did not involve another vehicle and was called in at approximately 8:54 p.m.
The motorcycle was traveling west on 40th Avenue and went into the ditch on the south side of the avenue, according to Fargo police.

A Fargo woman has also died after a rush-hour motorcycle crash on Friday on Interstate 694 in the Twin Cities area.
The State Patrol says a vehicle was eastbound on I-694 in Arden Hills, Minn., around 6 p.m. when the driver lost control as he approached stopped traffic at Hamline Avenue.
The motorcycle passenger, 27-year-old Jennifer Verlinde of Fargo, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis in critical condition. The Hennepin County medical examiner's office said Sunday that she died at the hospital early Saturday.
The driver, 26-year-old Lucas Anderson of Fargo, was taken to HCMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
The patrol says alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
