September is Baby Safety Month at DL Library
Detroit Lakes Minnesota 511 Washington Avenue 56501

There is a saying that goes, "The first baby's made of glass, the second one's made of rubber," and any mother that has raised more than one child knows there is some truth to this.

September is "Baby Safety Month," and your library has information available to take the fear out of rearing them no matter what their birth order.

"Baby and Child Health: Everything You Need to Know," by Philippa Kaye.

When dealing with a sick baby or child, it is vital that parents have the information they need at their fingertips. Giving parents the knowledge and confidence to know when to contact a doctor or take their child to the hospital, "Baby and Child Health: Everything You Need to Know" is the most accessible at-home guide for parents.

""Jo Frost's Confident Baby Care: What You Need to Know for the First Year from America's Most Trusted Nanny," by Jo Frost.

For the first time, America's favorite nanny brings all her warmth, love, and experience to bear on that most crucial and worrisome time: a baby's first twelve months.

With her unique blend of humor and empathy, Jo Frost gives parents the practical information and emotional support they need to embrace the challenge of their baby's first year.

She offers clear guidance to help moms and dads become the joyful, confident parents that make a family--and little ones--truly flourish.
