Sesquicentennial to hold forum in DL Library March 5
Becker County community leaders and citizens will gather March 5 in Detroit Lakes as part of the Minnesota Sesquicentennial's Plan for Our Future: Many Voices-One Minnesota project.
The Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission is holding a series of statewide public forums to find ways of ensuring a thriving, innovative future for all Minnesotans.
Detroit Lakes is the site for Becker County's Plan for Our Future: Many Voices-One Minnesota forum, Wednesday, March 5, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Detroit Lakes Library meeting room, 1000 Washington Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
The forums provide a snapshot of Minnesotans' ideas for the future at the crossroads of our 150th year.
