Sex offender moved to rural Waubun in Becker County
A level 3 sex offender is now living in Becker County in rural Waubun.
Mark Anthony Rehm, 27, moved to a residence on Becker County Road 21 on Saturday. The exact address was not disclosed.
In 2001, Rehm was convicted of first-degree sexual conduct with a 4-year-old girl.
In 2003, he was convicted of third-degree sexual conduct with a 14- year-old girl and failure to register. He was known to both of his victims.
He was convicted of both charges in Otter Tail County District Court.
In 2007, three weeks after his release from prison, he was sentenced to another year in prison for technical violations of his parole -- failing to register as a sex offender and failing to notify authorities of a change in address.
He had been released to live with his parents near Fergus Falls.
He was arrested again in Otter Tail County in 2009 for violating conditions associated with a previous conviction. He did not commit a new crime.
He moved to Park Rapids after being released from prison Oct. 30 and moved to Fergus Falls on Jan. 25.
Rehm is a registered level 3 predatory offender not wanted by the police and has fulfilled the sentence imposed by the courts.
