Part tragedy, part comedy, “The Winter’s Tale” begins unhappily, with jealous kings, dying queens and a courtier who gets eaten by a bear. The second half of the story takes place 16 years later, where the children of feuding kings have, of course, fallen in love, and are trying to plan an elopement.

Roles are available for eight men and eight women, with potential for some doubled roles. Auditions are open to anyone age 15 and up.

If unable to attend the scheduled auditions, please contact director Nikki Caulfield at 218-234-5938 to arrange an alternative audition time.

Rehearsals are typically Monday through Friday from 7 to 9:30 p.m., though most actors will have at least one night off each week, as they are not required to be at rehearsal when they are not in the scene.

Performance dates are on successive weekends, June 28-30 and July 5-7, in the bandshell at the DL Citiy Park. Actors are required to be present for every performance.
