In loving memory of Sharon Kathleen Crotts, beloved child of Verner and Lorraine Anderson, who passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes at the age of 62.
Sharon married Bernard Crotts and they were together 43 years, raised four children, and lived always at the family homestead in rural Shell Lake.
Sharon was strong, stubborn, had a hysterical sense of humor, was always truthful and real, and always said it like it is. She had a great love for animals and the animals loved her. She loved the outdoors, traveling, loved her family, friends, and neighbors.
She suffered ill health for many years but was always the first to make everyone laugh with her amazing skill for humor. She will be deeply missed and her memory and life will live forever in her children, grandchildren, and those who loved her.
Surviving Sharon are her husband Bernard; her children Ava (Rob) Robinson (Moorhead), Tina Penn (Moorhead) and Jesse and Jason Crotts (rural Shell Lake); three grandchildren, Austin Crotts and Megan and Leighton Penn; siblings Loretta (Melvin) Conklin (Detroit Lakes), Jeff Anderson (Detroit Lakes) and Linda (Kenneth) West (Washington); as well as a large extended family.
Please join us in celebration of Sharon's life at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20 in Grace Community Church, Osage, with visitation starting at 2 p.m.
