Sharon Marie Lasker 69, of Reno, Nev., was embraced by God on Sunday, June 15, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon Marie Lasker, the daughter of Floyd and Evelyn (Cogger) Leu, was born August 29, 1944 in Brainerd. She was the fourth child of 13 born to the Leus.
Sharon, a loving mother to Pete and Kari, and an affectionate and caring grandmother to Lance K. Smith Jr., will be forever in our hearts.
Sharon, a hard worker all her life, enjoyed reading, sewing, baking, gambling, dancing and decorating.
Surviving Sharon are ex-husband Arnold Lasker, daughter Kari and Manfred Galgon, all of Reno; grandson Lance K. Smith Jr., of Brea, Calif.; spoiled grand-dogs, Max and Bella of Reno; six sisters, Carol (Richard "Dick") Linden of Rochert, Patti (Phil) Stalberger of Waubun, Darlene (Curt) Ballard of Ogema, Evelyn Moore, Pam Lehmann and Beverly (Bud Carlson), all of Callaway; four brothers, Kenneth (Corrine) Leu of Detroit Lakes, Terry (Ellen) Leu, Daniel Leu of Callaway and Mike (Lucille) Leu of West Fargo.
Preceding her in death were her son Michael (Pete) Lasker; her parents, Floyd and Evelyn Leu; and two brothers, Ronnie and Dean Leu.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, July 2 at Assumption Catholic Church in Callaway, with interment in Calvary Cemetery, White Earth.
Never goodbye, only until we see each other again.
