Sheriff's Deputy arrested for domestic assault at a Fargo hotel
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Sargent County Sheriff's Deputy is on paid administrative leave after being arrested in Fargo early Tuesday morning.
25-year-old David Kozok from Gwinner is charged with disorderly conduct. Police were called to the Ramada hotel at 3 a-m on Tuesday on a report of a domestic assault.
Kozok's girlfriend says after an argument in the bar earlier in the evening. She hit him in the head and bruised her arm on the bathroom door as she tried to hit him again.
Fargo Police say Kozok was the "primary aggressor" in the situation, and he was arrested. He's been with the Sargent County Sheriff's office for two years.
