Shooting Star TV?ad wins Telly Award
Shooting Star Casino, Hotel and Event Center was recently recognized with a Telly Award for its 2007 advertising campaign. Selected from more than 14,000 entries was Shooting Star's "Now that's More!" television campaign developed by Minneapolis-based agency Russell Herder.
"It's exciting to have our work recognized with such a prestigious award. We're very proud of the campaign we developed with Russell Herder," said Shooting Star's director of marketing LeAnn Person. "It's fun and entertaining, and that's what you can expect from Shooting Star."
The four winning commercials feature characters that aren't getting the type of entertainment they expected, which are then contrasted to better kinds of entertainment they'd find at Shooting Star Casino.
"Shooting Star's emphasis on hospitality and entertainment gave us a foundation for strong work," said Russell Herder's executive creative director Brian Herder.
The Telly Awards are an international competition honoring outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs.
