Slick roads keep Minnesota State Patrol busy
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - A winter storm kept the Minnesota State Patrol busy as troopers responded to 80 vehicles that slid off the road during the 24-hour period ending at 7 a.m. today.
Most of the calls came from the Interstate 94 corridor from Moorhead to Alexandria, Trooper Jesse Grabow said in a news release. Some vehicles received minor damage.
Troopers also responded to 16 others crashes resulting in substantial damage, including rollovers. Three of those crashes resulted in minor injuries, Grabow said.
