Slippery roads lead to four accidents
The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Office.
Friday, Dec. 7
At 12:14 p.m. the theft of money was reported from a gym locker at the Lake Park-Audubon High School.
Saturday, Dec. 8
At 9:11 a.m. the theft of a four-year-old Honda 3001 with auxiliary gas tank was reported from the back of a pickup truck parked at the Kent Freeman arena the previous night.
At 10:18 a.m. a resident on the 35000 block of NW Angle Lane in Savannah Township reported the theft of a 5-foot by 10-foot Bear Track trailer with sliding ramps. He also said a neighbor's shed had been forcibly entered.
At 1:14 p.m. a burglary was reported on the 1300 block of Loring Avenue.
Sunday, Dec. 9
From 7:25 a.m. to 2:06 p.m. four non-injury accident were reported in Becker County following an overnight snowfall that left roads slippery.
At 6:38 p.m. a burglary was reported at a house in Green Valley Township, on the 57000 block of 175th Street. The break-in occurred sometime over the previous month.
At 12:03 a.m. a one-vehicle rollover was reported on the first curve north of Frazee on County Road 29. No injuries were reported.
Monday, Dec. 10
At 8:06 a.m. a woman reported that her husband saw a stranger in the vicinity of East Fox Lake Road and West Lake Sallie Drive. The man told her husband that someone was trying to murder him. When the woman checked a few minute later, the man was gone.
At 11:52 a.m. Bambi Resort on Toad Lake reported alleged employee embezzlement totaling about $45,000. The case is under investigation.
At 10:41 p.m. a mailbox was reported stolen overnight from a residence on the 22000 block of Hanna Avenue in Carsonville Township.
