Snow kidding: 3-5 inches in today's forecast for valley
In case you thought winter was over, it isn't.
Today could bring snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches to the Red River Valley.
The precipitation may start as rain very early this morning, switching to bands of snow, which will move through the area throughout the day, said Bill Barrett, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
The snow is expected to taper off late tonight.
