Southwest State in town
Steve Basty, an admissions counselor from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn., will visit Detroit Lakes High School at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, March 15.
Information on financial aid, tuition, academic programs, housing and campus life will be discussed. All interested students and parents are welcome to attend.
Founded in 1963, Southwest Minnesota State University experiences continual growth by serving students on-campus, online and around the state. Students enjoy a close working relationship with faculty and other students as well as a robust campus environment with over $100 million in conversation in construction over the past 10 years including a new Student Center and Conference Center; a renovates library and science labs; a new Regional Event Center; Sweetland Hall, a new 250-bed residence hall that opened in fall 2009.
