Speakers at Fargo-Moorhead chamber event say area economy is relatively healthy, but future unpredictable
FARGO - Speakers at a regional economic outlook forum this morning in Fargo said they don't know what's going to happen next with the Fargo-Moorhead economy.
But one said the metro area is relatively healthy and in better shape than most of the country to ride out the nationwide recession.
"If your goal is to get answers, good luck," Brad Schlossman said. "But we are better positioned than most of the country."
Schlossman, chief executive officer of Fargo's West Acres Development and a member of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp.'s executive committee, was one of five speakers at the Chamber of Commerce of Fargo Moorhead's annual economic outlook forum.
Other speakers focused on agriculture, manufacturing, life sciences and future trends.
