St. Mary's awarded grant for therapy center equipment
St. Mary's Regional Health Center Foundation received a grant in the amount of $6,884 through Dakota Medical Foundation's Donor Advised Fund, the Phil and Dianna Hansen Family Fund.
Funds will be used to assist in equipping St. Mary's new Therapy Center with needed therapy equipment. The new Therapy Center is currently under construction and expected to be completed summer 2008.
St. Mary's Regional Health Center is a nonprofit organization serving pediatric to geriatric patients. Programs include hospital, surgical, intensive care and emergency medicine services, as well as EMS ambulance service, kidney dialysis unit, nursing center, senior living, home health care, transportation services and therapy services.
Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, N.D., focuses its efforts on improving health and access to medical and dental care in the region, with a special emphasis on children. Since 1996, the Foundation has invested over $30 million to over 280 nonprofit organizations in the region.
