St. Mary’s receives $4,000 grant
Essentia Health St. Mary’s Foundation was awarded a $4,000 matching grant from Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF).
The money will go to St. Mary’s “Move That Machine” initiative to relocate the MRI machine from the mobile unit to within the hospital. The funds will support Essentia’s mission to make a healthy difference in people’s lives through patient care programs, community health initiatives, medical education, research, facility development and technology advancements.
The grant was made possible by the Giving Hearts Day fundraiser in February. The Dakota Medical Foundation pledged to match every donation of $10 or more, up to $4,000.
Essentia Health St. Mary’s Foundation received the full matching grant, thanks to the generosity of donors who gave more than $8,000 to support the MRI relocation project.
