Street Faire is coming
The 13th Annual Street Faire at the Lakes will be held on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 in downtown Detroit Lakes.
The Street Faire at the Lakes is the first juried art show of the season, featuring over 125 artist booths showcasing their work and is always held the weekend after Memorial Day.
Friday, May 31 artist hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eagles Bingo will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m., followed by a street dance featuring The Fat Cats, starting at 9 p.m. Also this year, meet the Valley News Live team for their Meet and Greet on Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
Friday’s music includes Mr. Jack & The Apprentices, Patchouli, Sarah Morrau with Tim Hoffelt and Tim Eggebraaten.
Saturday, June 1, artist hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The music lineup features Island Time, the Prairie Doves and Hardwood Groove. Eagles Bingo is 2:30-5 p.m. Saturday.
Both days, all day, enjoying the strolling sounds of musician Paul Imholte and bring the kids to The Wonder Weavers’ tent for free kids’ crafts. And of course, don’t forget the food!
