Strong work ethic key to Laker boys' tennis

Sports are introduced to kids as fun and for coach Jim Hinson his Detroit Lakes' boys' tennis team still has that mentality.

The Lakers are coming off of a season in which they lost 10 seniors, but for Hinson, the team can overcome those losses.

"We have 12 guys who have never played organized tennis and they don't know how hard the varsity competition is," Hinson said. "They all have a great attitude, though, and a strong work ethic."
