Struggling Angels lose two in Detroit Lakes Tournament; Wolf Lake is champ

Email News Alerts

Errors were the dooming factor once again for the struggling Detroit Lakes Angels, who lost 8-7 to the Jamestown (N.D.) Merchants Saturday in their home tournament at Washington Ballpark.

Four errors against Perham in the first round led to an 11-10 loss, while some late boots cost DL its second game.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Merchants took advantage of two errors and scored four times to take the game from the Angels 8-7.
