Four errors against Perham in the first round led to an 11-10 loss, while some late boots cost DL its second game.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Merchants took advantage of two errors and scored four times to take the game from the Angels 8-7.

The Merchants scored a run in the first off of Angel starter Justin Berg.

The Angels took a 5-1 lead in the top of the fifth with big hits by Noah Johnson -- who belted a three-run double -- and a two-run double by Matt Olson.

Jamestown cut the lead to 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth, while Bryan Buhr relieved Justin Berg with one out in the inning.

The Angels built a 7-4 lead in the top of the seventh, highlighted by an Olson home run.

For the Angels, Johnson was 2-3 with three RBIs and Olson was 2-2 with three RBIs, including a home run.

Berg started for the Angels and took the loss.

Wolf Lake beat Crookston in the championship game, while Vergas topped Perham in the third-place game.

The rest of the games were cancelled due to weather.

The Angels (5-8) play tonight (Wednesday) against New York Mills at home and will travel to Bluffton Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. start.
