Swimming and diving takes sixth in Bemidji

The Detroit Lakes swimming and diving team finished sixth in the Bemidji Invite Saturday with a total of 191 points.

Swimming without their top points scorer Melissa Paakh, the Lakers had several top 10 finishes, while once again dominating the diving portion of the meet.

Senior Shayna Dugger won the diving event with a final score of 202.7, while Bre Halbur was second with a 194.25.

Taryn Kobriger also claimed fifth in diving with her 170.95.
