Tamarac's Digital Day Camp
Wanted: Kids to spend a day at Tamarac Refuge exploring digital photography with park rangers and a local avid photographer.
The Nature Digital Day Camp is Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kids will start with learning how to take great photos and some basics of wildlife photography techniques. Then with camera in hand, they'll sneak around ponds, hike trails, climb hills and wander fields in search of wildlife, neat plants and beautiful landscapes.
Students will bring home a nature portfolio. This camp is geared for 11-12 year olds. The camp is free, but space is limited. Please sign up in advance by calling 218-847-2641.
