Randy Owen concert
Randy Owen, lead singer for Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Alabama, has been a fixture in country music for almost 30 years. He will perform music from his solo album, "One on One," in an 8 p.m. show on Thursday, Feb. 19 at Mahnomen's Shooting Star Casino.
Tie yourself in knots in a Twister Tournament at Detroit Lakes Library at 4 p.m. Out-twist your opponents, win prizes and eat snacks. This event is geared toward children in kindergarten through grade five.

The Lake Park Country Twirlers host a square dance at 7:30 p.m. in the Lake Park-Audubon High School, Lake Park. Caller is Jim Kooyer.
'50s Game Party
Hey Teens! Put on your poodle skirt and penny loafers for a '50s Game Party at 4 p.m. in the Detroit Lakes Library. It's a blast from the past with 1950s games, trivia and music. Come in costume and win prizes. This event is geared toward students in grades six through 12.

Perham trade show
The 18th annual Perham Trade & Home Show runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Perham Area Community Center. The PACC will be filled with food, vendors and live entertainment. Tickets are $3, with children age 6 and under admitted free.
Maplewood State Park hosts a candlelight ski from 6 to 8:30 p.m. -- a fun evening of cross-country skiing around Cataract Lake in Maplewood State Park. The 1-mile ski trail is an easy trail through the woods and will be lighted with 150 candles. Ski the trail, stand around the campfire, chat with friends, and enjoy hot chili, bars, and hot drinks inside the Trail Center. Skiers need a ski pass for $5 and vehicles need a Minnesota State Park sticker. Questions can be answered at Maplewood State Park, 863-8383.
Tuskegee Airman show
Meet Joel Brown, appearing as "A Tuskegee Airman," at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Mr. Brown is a re-enactor and a collector of memorabilia documenting Black participation in the U.S. armed services with special focus on the heroic contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American pilots to serve in the U.S. Military. Artist reception, lecture
Betsy Bowen, a Grand Marais, Minn.-based printmaker, opens her show of woodblock prints of places and wild animals of Minnesota at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center with a reception and lecture starting at 7 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.
