Teen faces felony charge, threatened to kill woman like “that old lady”

WILLMAR -- Juan Guillermo Carranza, 17, of Willmar, made his first appearance Thursday on a felony charge of terroristic threats for allegedly threatening Wednesday evening to kill a woman, and referenced the recent Kandiyohi County homicide in his threat.

Carranza also faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault. The date of his next in Kandiyohi County District Court was not immediately available Thursday.
