Three Minnesota duck hunters rescued after boat capsizes
LITCHFIELD, Minn. -- Nearby hunters are being credited for helping save three men whose boat capsized on a Meeker County lake while duck hunting Friday morning.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office said the men’s boat apparently capsized while they were retrieving ducks, sending two of the men into the water. A third man hung on to the boat, the sheriff’s office said.
The boat was about 200 yards from shore on Lake Washington, southeast of Litchfield.
