Three new probable cases of swine flu in Minnesota
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Department of Health has identified three new probable cases of the swine virus in Minnesota; one in Washington County and two in Hennepin County.
The Washington County case involves the Hugo Elementary pre-school site in Hugo. The White Bear Lake school district has decided to close the pre-school program for today.
One of the Hennepin County cases involves Lake Harriet Community School. Minneapolis school district officials have decided to keep Lake Harriet Community School open.
The state changed its guidelines for school closures on Monday, giving local officials the option to keep schools open due to the fact that the virus is now in the community and has been mild.
