Tornado touches down near Park Rapids, volatile weather expected in northwest Minnesota
A tornado damaged at least one mobile home and tore roofs from other structures Friday morning near the town of Emmaville in Hubbard County, Minn., according to Linda Eischens of the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department.
She said a funnel cloud was sighted in the county about 9:15 a.m. and the tornado touched down sometime between 9:30 and 10 a.m.Officers were in the area checking on the damage but as of 11 a.m. there had been no reports of injuries, Eischens said.
