Trapping license training offered this summer

For anyone in need of purchasing a Minnesota trapping license, the Minnesota Trappers Association has available online The Minnesota Trappers Education Course on their web page,

The correspondence course offers a downloadable Minnesota Trapper Education manual for the students. The successful completion of the correspondence course test and a field course are required to purchase your first trapping license.

The Cormorant Lakes Sportsman’s Club, Audubon, will be hosting a Field Training Course Saturday, June 14, starting at 10 a.m. in the club house. The course will run until around 6 p.m.

The course will be limited to 20 new students. If you have any questions or are interested in taking the field portion after successfully completing the correspondence course, please call Rick Julian at 2185323025 to register.
